What it does
The clamp grips a plain panel edge between 7 and 40 mm. It is not shaped to step over a face frame.
The standard model lifts a door 0 to 64 mm. The 2-in-1 lifts 0 to 55 mm and adds a drilling guide for push-to-open latches.
The standard model is 3.62 in high and 4.45 in wide. It lives in an apron pocket between doors.
European-style cabinets have no frame, so the door hangs straight off the side panel. This jig clamps to that panel and gives the door a ledge to sit on. You turn the knob to raise or lower the door until the top lines up, then drive the hinge screws. The engraved scale lets you repeat the same height on the next door. The 2-in-1 model comes with three drills, two adapters and a bag.
Limits
Do not buy it for framed cabinets. The clamp cannot reach around a face frame, and our 3-in-1 jig exists for that case. Panels thicker than 40 mm are also out of range. Between the two models here, take the standard one for doors alone. Take the 2-in-1 if your doors use push-to-open latches.

So I bought this for hanging doors on some very expensive "European" or faceless cabinets and they'll probably work great. While I was messing around with them at my own home I found they don't work on my cabinets because they don't fit the frame. Almost but not quite. Now they're in metric and that's fine & they are VERY well built, very solid construction so I'll keep them for that alone.
Works really well. Would be nice if the opening for the clamp would go another 1" larger.
