How to choose

Choosing Model Nippers at the bench

  1. Start with the grade

RM1.0 is the first pair. RM3.0 is thinner and sharper. RM5.0 is for the final trim.

  2. Two cuts beat one

Cut the part free with a little gate left, then trim the nub flush. A fine blade lasts longer that way.

  3. Plastic only

Thin single blades chip on metal, clear hard plastic and thick runners.
