What it does

The Model Tools Kit, in three points

  1. Cut and hold

    Single-blade nippers free the part. Straight, angled and curved tweezers place it.

  2. Trim

    A hobby knife with a blade lock and 5 spare blades shaves what the nippers leave.

  3. Sand in steps

    Three aluminum boards take adhesive paper in six grits from 400 to 1500, with 20 sheets of each.

At the bench

Buying model tools one at a time takes a while to get right. This kit puts the basic bench in one box. Clip, trim, sand through the grits, and the part is ready for paint or assembly. The sanding boards are flat aluminum, so they keep edges crisp where a sponge would round them. The foam tray shows at a glance if a tool is missing.
